Professional service company supports sales of Red Paddle

The Myers Family Office acquired Red Paddle Co. for 20 million pounds. The transaction was supported by five professional service companies.

Red Paddle Co. has been producing inflatable paddle boards since 2008. Driven by the world-renowned Red Paddle Co brand, the business has achieved strong growth. Since its initial investment, its revenue has almost doubled and EBITDA has almost tripled.

Its premium products are now sold in more than 60 countries through its website, retailers and distributors. In recent years, with the rise of the stand-up paddle board market, Paddle Co equipment is now sold by many mainstream retailers including John Lewis & Partners.

Red Paddle Co. has grown into a company with annual sales of 20 million pounds and has become an increasingly attractive asset for investors. Gresham House Ventures invested 4 million pounds in 2015 to fund the founder’s equity offering, and later supported the current CEO and Red Paddle Co. brand founder John Hibbard and the financial director of the management buyout business Helen Hills .

Now, the company's holding company, Vian Marketing, has been acquired by the Myers family office, injecting more capital into the company to promote its expansion. The entrepreneurial management team of Red Paddle Co. will continue to lead the post-transaction business.

The corporate finance team of professional services company Browne Jacobson advised Myers Family Office on its acquisition of Vian Marketing. The Browne Jacobson corporate consulting team consists of corporate partner Richard Cox, senior assistant Sam Sharp and assistant Sian Harrison. Partner Andrew Noble advises on the taxation of the company being traded.
