The definition of Canvassing is:

Check carefully or discuss thoroughly; review... Conduct a thorough check or discuss in detail.

A group of citizens concerned about this matter in Macomb County named it Macomb County Concerned Citizens Initiative. They canvassed their county and created a canvassing report. They surveyed approximately 1,200 absent voters who were reported by the country to be absent from voting in the 2020 general election. It all started with a group of citizens who were concerned about this matter, one of them was Jacky Eubanks.

The organization submitted the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and requested a list of voters who voted in absentia in different towns in Macomb County in 2020. They selected approximately 1,200 people from the list to investigate. They asked these 1,200 people with 3 very simple questions:

When the information in the public records did not match the testimony of voters, they collected affidavits from people under investigation. During their investigation, they found something they called anomalies. These exceptions are:
