Dog surfing is a strange thing, isn’t it? While it seems clear that sometimes it’s solely for the owner’s benefit, there are at least a few furry friends who appear to genuinely enjoy it. And while most dogs don’t generally get the best rides, Rosie the surfing dog here caught a genuinely good wave, whether you’ve got paws or feet.

Rosie, a dog from Santa Cruz, has made quite the name for herself on social media. With nearly 40,000 followers, she’s out there with her owner when the waves are good. Sometimes she’ll surf solo, but other times she’ll go tandem on a SUP. And in this case, it seems pretty clear that Rosie enjoys ripping.

Only the best. We promise.
