What: Neil Berg narrates the thrilling and spectacular 50-year history of the music that forever transformed the world with a cast of actors from Broadway’s biggest rock musicals and brilliant rock and roll singers! The waters of Galveston Bay have a long history that dates back to the island’s formation. Visitors will learn about the eerie past of Galveston’s harborside during this unique 90-minute tour onboard the SEAGULL II of the Galveston Historical Foundation.

What: Are you a jazz fan looking for an excellent way to spend your Saturday in Galveston? What: Do you have the knack for fishing? Confident you can catch a big, long Red Drum a.k.a. “Big Red” in the Galveston waters? Then join the Redfish Rodeo VII! This month-long event starts this weekend, and will record the winning fish with the longest length by inches in ¼ inch increments. Prizes awarded for 1st 2nd and 3rd place are $1000.00, $500.00, and $250.00 respectively.
